Let’s keep the momentum going—we’re now aiming to place an additional unit at The Beach Club, thanks to the help of Jono from Jono’s Watersports.
One device will be placed at the western end of St Brelade's Bay on Solshine, and the other will be located at Eastern end by The Beach Club restaurant.

Our goal is simple but profound: to provide a lifeline during critical moments. The funds we raise will cover the cost of the defibrillator itself, a secure cabinet to house it on the shack, spare batteries and pads to last five years, and all the necessary expenses involved in the installation process. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Jersey Heart Support Group, ensuring that our efforts have a lasting impact on heart health advocacy.
Currently, the only defibrillator in the bay is tucked away in hotels or at the church. While these locations serve a purpose, they are not easily accessible from the beach, and many in the general public are unaware of their existence. We believe that visibility is key to making a defibrillator truly effective.
Solshine is more than just a coffee shack; it's a hub of community activity, located prominently in St Brelades bay. By mounting a defibrillator on the side of Solshine, we aim to create a visual reminder for everyone in the area that help is close at hand. In moments of crisis, seconds matter, and having a defibrillator within reach can make all the difference.
